How to spend an IKONic day in Steamboat Springs
I like to stay overnight at the ski in/ski out Gravity Haus Hotel but there are numerous overnight options. Or you can do a day trip just remember its about a 3 hour trip from Denver.
Gondola square is the main base area where shuttles will drop you off and where you will start and end your day!
Steamboat also has their own airport if you prefer to fly direct!
skiing Steamboat ski resort in Yampa valley is a must!
With over 310″ of champagne powder this 2023 season, the riding in the trees, bowls, and chutes is incomparable. A large variety of terrain on the 171 trails gives everyone a chance to enjoy the snow and the valley views of the surrounding ranches and mountains.
Use your IKON pass at steamboat and give your friends that weren’t smart enough to get an IKON your buddy passes.
Make sure to get your après in at Gondola Square!

Strawberry hot springs
After a day on the slopes, taking a visit to Strawberry Hot Springs will be much needed to help your body recover! Online 2 hour window reservations are required and I suggest checking ASAP and rechecking if you don’t get the time you want.
This natural hot spring is nestled in nature on a winding snow covered road. 4WD is a must or shuttles are offered for those who don’t want to tempt fate on the drive. Once you arrive the fee is $20 cash ONLY.
After you arrive and pay, its just a short walk down to the stone pools of all different temperatures, including a cold plunge river!
